Bowen family systems theory offers people a way to conceptualize human behaviora way to think about, and focus on, a more objective way of understanding the relationships in which one lives as well as one's own functioning within these important relationships.

The family you grew up in is probably the most valuable resource you have for understanding your own emotional reactivity.

WHO WE ARE

The Princeton Family Center for Education, Inc. (PFCE) offers courses and training programs in Bowen family systems theorya natural systems theory that offers a broad new perspective on human behavior.

Dr. Murray Bowen’s theory is a body of knowledge about human emotional functioning in family, work, and social systems. This knowledge provides a guide for more responsible functioning in one’s own life.

The Princeton Family Center is a nonprofit educational institution teaching Bowen theory to professionals, organizational leaders, and members of the general public.
